A little about me

// who i am

I’m a Computer Science student at the University of Nottingham with a passion for building software that solves real problems. I enjoy taking an idea from concept to a working application, particularly across AI, full-stack development and real-time systems.

My projects range from personal AI assistants and computer-vision applications to collaborative web applications and software built for real clients. I’m particularly interested in understanding how systems work under the hood and using that knowledge to build practical, reliable and user-focused software.

I’m currently looking for a year-long industry placement where I can contribute to real-world software projects, learn from experienced developers and continue growing as a software engineer.

A Google Docs–style editor where multiple people can write in the same document at once, see each other's cursors live, and never lose work to a conflicting edit — built on a CRDT engine so concurrent edits merge correctly instead of one silently overwriting another.

Sage — AI Listening Companion

A full-stack chat app pairing a React frontend with a Node/Express backend calling the OpenAI API. Explicitly designed as a supportive listening companion, not a licensed therapist — it never diagnoses, and surfaces crisis resources automatically if self-harm comes up, on top of the model's own instructions. Built to demonstrate full-stack AI integration and responsible-AI product thinking around a sensitive use case.
